US Representative Ed Royce (R, CA) is busy at work destroying the possibility of truth being spoken in the US. On April 15 at a hearing before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs of which Royce is chairman, Royce made use of two minor presstitutes to help him redefine all who take exception to Washington’s lies as “threats” who belong to a deranged pro-Russian propaganda cult.

Washington’s problem is that whereas Washington controls the print and TV media in the US and its vassal states in Europe, Canada, Australia, Ukraine, and Japan, Washington does not control Internet sites, such as this one, or media, such as RT, of non-vassal states. Consequently, Washington’s lies are subject to challenge, and as people lose confidence in Western print and TV media because of the propaganda content, Washington’s agendas, which depend on lies, are experiencing rougher sledding.

Truth is bubbling up through Washington’s propaganda. Confronted with the possibility of a loss of control over every explanation, Hillary Clinton, Ed Royce, and the rest are suddenly complaining that Washington is “losing the information war.” Huge sums of taxpayers’ hard earned money will now be used to combat the truth with lies.

What to do? How to suppress truth with lies in order to remain in control? The answer says Andrew Lack, Royce, et alia, is to redefine a truth-teller as a terrorist. Thus, the comparison of RT and “dissident” Internet bloggers to the Islamist State and the designated terror group, Boko Haram.

Royce expanded the definition of terrorist to include dissident bloggers, such as Chris Hedges, John Pilger, Glenn Greenwald and the rest of us, who object to the false reality that Washington creates in order to serve undeclared agendas. For example, if Washington wants to pour profits into the military/security complex in exchange for political campaign contributions, the politicians cannot say that. Instead, they claim to protect America from a dangerous enemy or from weapons of mass destruction by starting a war.

If politicians want to advance American financial or energy imperialism, they have to do so in the name of “bringing freedom and democracy.” If the politicians want to prevent the rise of other countries, such as Russia, President Obama has to depict Russia as a threat comparable to the Ebola virus and the Islamist State.

Noam Chomsky summed it up when he said that Washington regards any information that does not repeat Washington’s propaganda to be intolerable.

Washington’s assault on truth as a threat helps to make sense of the gigantic National SecurityAgency spy system exposed by William Binney and Edward Snowden. One of the purposes of the spy network is to identify all “dissidents” who challenge Big Brother’s “Truth.”

There is, or will be, a dossier on every “dissident” with all of the dissident’s emails, Internet searches, websites visited, phone calls, purchases, travels. The vast amount of information on each dissident can be combed for whatever can be taken out of context to make a case against him, if a case is even needed. Washington has already successfully asserted its power over the Constitution to indefinitely detain without charges and to torture and to murder US citizens.

It was a couple of years ago that Janet Napolitano, head of Homeland Security, said that the department’s focus had shifted from terrorists to domestic extremists.

Lumped into the category of domestic extremists are environmental activists, animal rights activists, anti-war activists which includes disillusioned war veterans, and people who believe in states’ rights, limited government and accountable government. Consequently, many dissidents, America’s best citizens, will qualify as domestic extremists on several accounts. Chris Hedges, for example, is an advocate for animals as well as concerned about the environment and Washington’s never-ending wars.

The spying and the coming crackdown on “dissidents” might also explain the $385 million federal contract awarded to a subsidiary of Dick Cheney’s firm, Halliburton, to build detention camps in the US. Few seem to be concerned with who the camps are to detain. There is no media or congressional investigation. It seems unlikely that the camps are for hurricane or forest fire evacuees. Concentration camps are usually for people regarded as unreliable. And as Lack, Royce, et alia have made clear, unreliable people are those who do not support Washington’s lies.

A perceived need by Washington, and the private power structure that Washington serves, to protect themselves from truth could also be the reason for the very strange military exercises in various of the states to infiltrate, occupy, and round-up “threats” among the civilian population. Even the presstitute CNN reported that the National Guard troops sent to Ferguson, Missouri, were programmed to view the civilian protesters as “enemy forces” and “adversaries,” and we know that the state and local militarized police are trained to view US citizens as threats.

As far as I can discern, not many Americans, whether Democrat or Republican, liberal, conservative, or super-patriot, educated or not, understand that Washington with the cooperation of its presstitute media has defined truth as a threat. In Washington’s opinion, truth is a greater threat than Ebola, Russia, China, terrorism, and the Islamic State combined.

A government that cannot survive truth and must resort to stamping out truth is not a government that any country wants. But such an undesirable government is the government that Clinton-Bush-Cheney-Obama-Hillary-Lack-Royce have given us.

Faking the Boston bombing: How it was done

Everything about the Boston bombing was staged using crisis actors, fake blood and phony injuries

The Boston bombing, like Sandy Hook, was a drill presented as though it were a real event. The police on bullhorns were announcing, “This is a drill! This is a drill!”. The Boston Globe was tweeting, “Police will have controlled explosion on 600 block on Boyleston Street”, there was no blood when these explosions occurred, the backpacks they were wearing were not the backpacks that exploded, the “bloody confession” of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was fake, and even the footage of the brothers at the Marathon was fabricated–yet our nation’s mass media, including our newspaper of record, The New York Times, published the fakery as though it were real!

Nathan Folks, a Hollywood producer and director, nailed what was going on during an interview with “Voice of Russia”, during which he identified one of the key players in the event as an actor he had cast in one of his own films and explained that what was taking place is known as “hyper-realistic filming” in which scenes are created to be as realistic as possible for the benefit of inexperienced troops, for example, to acquire a sense of what they may encounter in combat.

Here I want to lay out the proof that Nathan has it right by presenting overwhelming evidence that the Boston bombing was staged, in the first place, and that it was done using hyper-realistic filming, in the second.

Caravan to Midnight’s expose

John B. Wells, the host of “Caravan to Midnight”, featured two students of the Boston bombing, PeeKay (who is a video blogger from Australia) and David Weiss (who has also done extensive work on Sandy Hook). They spent nearly two-and-a-half hours demonstrating that what happened there was completely staged and that no one died or was even injured.

Although CTM is normally “by subscription”, about 2/3 of the way through the show, John B. Wells declared that this was so important he was going to make it public by publishing it as a YouTube video. And that was a most appropriate decision for him to have made, as you will see from watching the following presentation:

About Hyper-Realistic filming

While Nathan has explained the idea behind “hyper-realistic filming”, here is a video that makes it completely vivid by illustrating how it is done. Indeed, this is an example of exactly what he was talking about in presenting scenes that are as realistic as possible so that inexperienced troops will have a sense of what they might encounter in combat.

But it can be extended to other setting, especially through the use of crisis actors, such as we have discovered was the case during the faking of the Boston bombing. We have to appreciate the importance of this technique, which can be used for good (to train troops) or for evil (to deceive the American public) for political purposes:

An article that appeared in Training & Simulation Journal (17 June 2011), moreover, elaborates on a kind of fake skin called a “Cut Suit”, a prosthetic human body worn by a person like a skin-tight gown, which includes fake skin and organs and a reservoir of fake blood.

Weighing in at 30 pounds, soldiers can make cuts into the suit or treat cuts that are already there as a form of “casualty treatment", such as they might be expected to have to perform in combat. Because the injuries appear so realistic, these suits are especially valuable in setting where deception has a high premium. We know about fake legs and other prosthetics, but this innovation goes far beyond them:

Nobody died at the Boston bombing

Here is a short-take discussing one aspect of PeeKay’s research, including a fake dummy that was used during the exercise. For those who have less than two-and-a-half hours for the “Caravan to Midnight” elaborate exposition, this video focuses on the use of a child-dummy, which appears to be hanging onto its mother, but the entire scene is fraudulent, where the child dummy is even passed around to create the impression of more parents and children in distress.

As it observes, the whole thing was fake–and there really is no room for doubt about it. We live in a world of illusion, where, as Karl Rove once observed, while you are studying our latest “created reality”, we are producing yet another:

Even the trial itself is fakery

And for anyone who entertains any lingering faith in our judicial system, here is further proof that the trial itself appears to be a staged event, where the judge, the prosecutors and the defense attorneys are collaborating in an elaborate fraud on the public and the jurors. The evidence that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother Tamerlan had nothing to do with the bombing is extensive, compelling and easily accessible.

I and others even called and wrote to Judy Clarke to offer Nathan and myself as expert witnesses on behalf of the defense. But their set pieces were in place, they were already committed to their roles and were not inclined to deviate from the script. So they simply did not bother to call back:

From the Rules of Professional Conduct for the Practice of Law in California, it is obvious on its face that she has violated several of its conditions. Those include two clauses of Rule 5-200, Trial Conduct, which specifies “a member (A) Shall employ, for the purpose of maintaining the causes confided to the member such means only as are consistent with truth” and “(B) Shall not seek to mislead the judge, judicial officer, or jury by an artifice or false statement of fact or law”, which she grossly violated by falsely asserting to the Judge and jury, “He did it!”

She has also violated Rule 5-220, Suppression of Evidence, which stipulates, “A member shall not suppress any evidence that the member of the member’s client has a legal obligation to reveal or to produce”.  That would include video of the police with bullhorns, the tweets from the Boston Globe announcing that a “controlled explosion” will be set off during the marathon for the benefit of bomb squad activities, and other evidence presented here and elsewhere. There was not even probable cause to warrant an indictment, much less proof to justify a conviction.

Washington’s unprecedented propaganda campaign to demonize Russia and President Vladimir Putin could lead to a nuclear catastrophe, according to an American scholar in Madison, Wisconsin.

Professor James Henry Fetzer, an editor at Veterans Today, made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Sunday while commenting on a former White House official’s article in which he warned that the US is pushing the world towards a nuclear armageddon.

“The propaganda campaign attempting to demonize Vladimir Putin and Russia is reaching unparalleled heights today, as Paul Craig Roberts has astutely delineated in his recent report about the frightening combination of extreme disinformation unrelated to the realities of the situation in the world, with 450 US ICBMs on hair-trigger alert, which, as he correctly observes, could lead to a nuclear catastrophe,” Fetzer said.

“The question that has to be raised is why all of this propaganda is taking place which is so pervasive, so extensive, so intense, which I believe can only be understood against the background of appreciating why any nation or party would have an interest in or benefit from demonizing Vladimir Putin and Russia,” he added.

“It appears to me is that the motives trace back to Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu who is outraged that Russia is providing Iran with advanced air defense systems, that are going to make all but impossible for Israel to  launch an attack upon Iran’s nuclear facilities,” he noted.

“The events of 9/11 were artificially contrived by the CIA, the neocons in the Department of the Defense and Mossad to change US foreign policy from one in which – at least officially – ‘we’ve never attacked any nation that have not attacked us first’ to one in which we regain an aggressor nation [status], immediately launching attacks on Afghanistan,  subsequently on Iraq, then on Libya, ongoing efforts to undermine Syria, and one expects that Iran is in the offing in the background as the ultimate target,” said Fetzer, the co-founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth.

On September, 11, 2001, unprecedented attacks destroyed the World Trade Center in New York  and damaged the Pentagon in Washington. The attacks also killed nearly 3000 Americans.

US officials assert that the attacks were carried out by al-Qaeda terrorists but independent analysts say it was a false-flag operation carried out by US neoconservatives along with the Israeli intelligence agencies in order to accelerate the US war machine and advance the Zionist agenda.

“In addition, we have the neocons, where it must be remembered that most of these neocons are dual US-Israeli citizens,” Fetzer pointed out.

He went on to say that neoconservatives, such as Andrew Lack, are “conducting extraordinary disinformation campaign to even discredit Russia Today, which along with Press TV, maybe the most reliable truth-telling news outlets in the world today, suggesting that truth-tellers are terrorists.”

“The situation is very, very bad. We now have US military drills in Europe, that are angering the Russians, but where the US, Britain, France and Jordan have refused to name [ISIL] as a terrorist group,” the American scholar noted.

“In the background [of the] success of the BRICS [Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa] arrangement, the new alternatives to the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, Russia is providing these air defense systems, China is going to develop a nuclear reactor for Iran," he observed.

"There is a growing strength of relationship between Russia, Iran and China, which is a very positive development,” he underlined.

In his concluding remarks, Fetzer said, "The situation is very troubling. Paul Craig Roberts is quite valiant. He has done a wonderful work, and all of us have must pause and consider why there’s this fanatic effort to attack Putin and Russia, when they represent sane voices in a world of chaos today."

The United States move to join a naval blockade against Yemen has “the effect of keeping food from the people rather than weapons form the rebels”, says American philosopher James Fetzer.

The US was “embarrassed” last week after one of its ships, taking part in the blockade, boarded a Panamanian cargo ship, accused of carrying Iranian weapons to Yemen’s Houthi fighters, but found nothing, Fetzer said in a Tuesday phone interview with Press TV.

“This is further confirmation that American and Western paranoia toward Iran is completely unjustified.”

The Pentagon confirmed on Monday that the carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt and the cruiser USS Normandy have also been dispatched near the impoverished country.

Washington has not only managed to fail to display the “wisdom” of Pakistan, which has refused to join the Saudi aggression, but also “continues to disgrace itself through the abuse of its military power”.

Citing “the current instability" in Yemen, a US Navy Monday statement said Washington’s presence had been “increased” in the Arabian Sea, Gulf of Aden, the Strait of Bab-el-Mandeb, and the Southern Red Sea.

Earlier on Tuesday, Riyadh declared a halt to aerial bombardment of the impoverished country, a move hailed by the government in Tehran.

The air campaign against the Ansarullah fighters of the Houthi movement has also targeted the country’s infrastructure and residential areas after it started on March 26, without a United Nations mandate, in a bid to restore power to the country’s fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.

According to reports, some 2,800 people, including women and children, have lost their lives in the attacks so far.

JADE HELM is NOT "an ordinary training drill"

Something is wrong at Veterans Today. A former Marine, who has published many articles here, was slammed by Gordon Duff and by Jim Dean for perpetrating "a hoax" by raising concerns about this mysterious "training op" called JADE HELM. I admire VT and like Gordon personally, although from time to time we have a divergence in our point of view. I have never felt as positive about Jim Dean because, as an old-time reporter and editor, he has come across to me as having an anti-academic prejudice, which I as a former professor have sensed from our initial encounters. But that doesn't mean he's wrong. But let's consider the case of this article and its author, Robert O'Dowd. Although I had not read any of his work at VT before, I thought it was raising a perfectly appropriate issue as to whether or not JADE HELM, which is an operation that covers at least seven states (and now seems to have expanded to five or six more) could possibly be the cover for imposing martial law under the pretext of conducting operations in urban settings, which are meant to train personnel "for foreign operations", where nothing about this has struck me as right from the beginning. As a consequence, I was glad to see he had published about it: But I could hardly believe the response from Gordon and Jim. Not only did they "tag team" Robert and imply that he had been played for a sap but asserted that, "We have checked our sources who would be in a position to know if something like this were going on, and it categorically is not." The problem with this approach is that we ordinary readers are not in the position to verify "their sources". This is a classic appeal to authority, where we are supposed to take their word for it. And while I might be disposed to accept those assurances on routine matters, in this instance, the case of JADE HELM is anything but "routine".

Jim Dean piles on

It further astonished me that Jim Dean would reiterate his and Gordon's position in both the facebook and ordinary comments sections on O'Dowd's article, which you can easily confirm for yourself. This left some readers, such as Bonny Amey, at a loss as to exactly what was going on. And, indeed, others expressed concern, even in the ordinary comments section, where O'Dowd (in my view, with complete justification) submitted his resignation as a journalist for VT on facebook, explaining that he did not appreciate being used as a whipping boy for having published "a bogus story", especially when the facts are still in doubt:

So is this "a bogus story"?

The fellow who seems to be arranging this op and speaking about it in public is one Tony Mead, where his characterization of "JADE HELM" is reasonably elaborate, involving the use of Army Green Berets, Navy SEALS and representatives of the other branches of the US military, which suggests that those who have asserted that this only involves "the national guard" appear to be wrong. Indeed, if what he is telling us in this video presentation is correct, then the appeal to "the national guard" is a bogus story, which troubles me because I heard it from Gordon Duff. But perhaps he had not looked into the situation deeply enough.

If Gordon had not looked into the situation "deeply enough", however, then it makes no sense for him to have attacked Robert's article and assailed him as a dupe who was pushing "a bogus story". I was troubled enough by all of this that I brought together a group of four guests, including Terri from Nebraska (who had sent me many links), Robert O'Dowd himself (as the one who had raised this issue on VT), Preston James (whom I regard as one of the most astute intellects I have ever known), and last but not least (as a late arrival), Dennis Cimino (with whom I have co-authored multiple articles here) to try to sort all this out:

While I think we made progress in sorting this out, none of our considerations supported the idea that this was "a bogus story" and that no one should be concerned. It came as news to me when my producer, Chance, observed that a parallel operation is taking place in Canada under the name of "Maple Resolve", which includes closing some 133 Target Stores, not merely for the two months the operation is officially supposed to run but for nine months at the cost of some 17,000 jobs, where their former employees are even being encouraged to find other lines of work. In my opinion, this alters the equation and leaves no doubt:

What conclusion should we draw?

Several features of "the big picture" strike me as enormously important. Walmart and Target are stores with mass appeal for the middle and lower class of both Canadian and American society. That some 15 Walmarts should be taken over in the United States alone and now another 133 Targets in Canada is alarming! There is nothing "bogus" about this story. And other sources, such as David Hodges' "Common Sense Show" have made equally telling observations about the redistribution of resources for a purported "training op" when it entails the dismissal of 17,000 employees, who no doubt are being left in desperate straits:                                                                                  

So what conclusions do I draw from my investigations to this date? Gordon Duff and Jim Dean were wrong to censor Robert O'Dowd, whose article was entirely appropriate for a journal devoted to "clandestine activities". JADE HELM is not a "training op" but something far more serious. When you calculate the profits per store to Walmart and to Target, they are taking an enormous hit, which can only be for some transcendent purpose that override "the conduct of business as usual". (We are talking about billions of dollars in lost profits, not to mention the loss of highly qualified, experienced personnel to stock products, to resupply those facilities and to process check outs and deliveries.) As an investigative journalist for Veterans Today, I am committed to doing my best to expose the truth, even when it conflicts with the views of Gordon Duff and Jim Dean, who are at liberty to deal with me as severely as they dealt with Robert O'Dowd.
